Supporting The Crowborough Crusader

The Crowborough Crusader is produced independently, without advertisers, sponsors, or financial backers whispering helpful suggestions from the sidelines. That independence is deliberate — and it comes at a modest cost.

If you choose to support the publication financially, your contribution will be split evenly:

50% goes toward the ongoing production of The Crowborough Crusader — covering design tools, hosting, and the time required to create each issue.

50% is passed directly to local Crowborough good causes, supporting people and projects doing practical, unglamorous, and often under-noticed work in the community.

In other words, half the money keeps the satire alive; the other half does something genuinely useful.

Support is entirely optional. The publication will remain freely available, and no one is obliged to contribute in order to read, share, or disagree with it. But if you believe that humour can expose contradictions, soften hardened positions, and create space for reflection — and that communities are strengthened when local good causes are supported — then this is one small way to help both.
